One of my fondest hopes was that he would be found guilty and serve serve prison time. We have way too many politicians accepting major gratuities in one form or another that in my opinion qualifies them as crooks in our government. Flush them out, regardless of Party, gender or race.
To bad a slow moving government hasn't come up with enough to charge Obama and Dodd for their shady deals with the convicted Tony Retzko. And Rangel, for trying to evade taxes on his off shore properties. Innocently overlooked, Rangel said.
The problem is that the "voters" often vote them back to office as they did reelect the corrupt (he was found guilty and sentenced to a short term) Mayor of Washington, D.C.
