Republicans being blamed for delay of the $60 billion Sandy hurricane relief bill that is loaded with pork that has nothing to do with the Sandy disaster. Will someone tell me who the politicians are that have rolled this pork into this relief bill. Their names should be made public.
I do not have the information but I suspect most of the pork is coming from the Democrats who believe in spending far beyond the systems ability to balance in spending cuts. To Democrats every "need to spend" is a priority.
So sad.

The earmarks went to Alabama, Texas, Mississippi, and Louisiana. Why? It's pretty easy actually. The first 3 of the states listed have 2 Republican senators and Louisiana has 1 Republican senator for a grand total of 7 Republican senators. Have any idea why 7 is significant? The 7 senators made the bill filibuster or obstruction proof. Sad commentary on the state of our government when buying votes is the only way to get anything to a vote.
