From all I read and see, Turkish leadership was in the prolonged process of turning Turkey from a Democracy into an Islamic State. Obama, a Muslim, was seemingly in support of this process.
While I seldom believe violence is the answer to solving problems, sometimes it is necessary such as the entrance of the U.S.A. into World War 2.
I could be wrong as I have never visited Turkey and felt the mood of good leaders.
