As you read my previous blogs, you will note that since the PRM was financed by approximately 2/3rds taxpayer dollars, the Davis- Bacon Act would not have come into play. You may remember that the B-D only applies to government building or maintenance projects.
Which really makes no sense as to why the B-D was ever voted in by the Democrats. THE TAXPAYERS SUPPORT THE GOVERNMENT. Why did the Democrats vote to approve this law?
When you are up for election, the unions note what you have done for them.
